Saudi Arabia is taking significant steps to enhance its marine tourism sector, aiming to become a global leader in this field. The Red Sea Authority has rolled out a detailed regulatory framework to support the growth of recreational yachting. This framework covers Saudi yachts, visiting yachts, and megayacht leasing, ensuring a safe and sustainable maritime environment that attracts investors.

The new regulations are designed to streamline yachting activities by clearly defining the roles of stakeholders such as yacht owners, cruise agents, charter operators, port authorities, captains, and crew members.
