International Saudi Falcons And Hunting Exhibition 2025 Attracts Record-Breaking 700,000 Visitors

The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 concluded with a record-breaking attendance of over 700,000 visitors in ten days. This event, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, featured more than 1,400 exhibitors from 47 countries. It showcased a wide range of experiences and products across 28 specialized sectors.

CEO of the Saudi Falcons Club, Talal AlShamaisi, expressed gratitude for the support from Saudi leadership in preserving national heritage. He highlighted that the exhibition's record turnout signifies its status as a global destination that blends cultural heritage with economic and tourism aspects. AlShamaisi emphasized that this event is not just an annual exhibition but an economic catalyst that boosts tourism, entertainment, handicrafts, and local products.

Saudi Falcons Exhibition Sees Record Attendance

This year's exhibition saw increased international participation and introduced several new zones. These included areas for Mongolian falcons, a Saluki museum, a Chinese pavilion, and a zone dedicated to the Hima Cultural Area on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Other notable zones were the Safari zone and the Future Falconer Village.

The event also featured two auctions: one for Mongolian and locally trapped falcons with sales reaching SAR7 million, and another for camels organized with the Saudi Camel Federation. The expanded participation highlights the event's growing international appeal.

The exhibition hosted 23 activities including a falcon-calling competition and traditional performances like the Saudi Ardah. Equestrian shows combined horses with falcons while karting and four-wheel drive experiences took place on specialized tracks. Visitors could also enjoy camel riding, shooting ranges for firearms, air rifles, archery, Arabian horse drawing activities, panel discussions, and over 30 craft workshops.

A highlight was the Milwah Race which awarded prizes worth SAR600,000 to 60 winners across six categories. The Shalayel Digital Museum was another attraction along with zones for weapons, classic cars, art exhibitions featuring Saudi craftswomen's work in weaving.

The King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority and Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority provided strategic sponsorship for this event. Their support underscores institutional backing for national events which strengthens Saudi Arabia's position as a hub for cultural gatherings worldwide.

This exhibition has evolved into an economic driver supporting falconers as well as investors and entrepreneurs involved in related sectors. It continues to stimulate growth within tourism entertainment handicrafts local products industries while preserving traditional hobbies through such large-scale gatherings.
