Launched last January, the "Emirati Hospitality Program" spanned six months and concluded with 18 graduates receiving certificates from the Swiss University of Les Roches. The event saw attendance from tourism authority officials, company representatives involved in the programme, hotel industry leaders, and families of the students.

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr congratulated the graduates on their commitment and hard work in gaining essential skills to enhance their country's reputation as a top global destination. He wished them success in their careers and encouraged them to become pioneers in advancing UAE's tourism and hospitality sector.

The programme's goal is to equip young Emiratis with necessary skills for future leadership roles within this vital industry. It also aims to boost Emiratisation efforts by preparing locals for significant positions.

His remarks highlighted how tourism serves as a medium for countries to express their culture and heritage authentically. This industry is seen as crucial for supporting economic growth and sustainable development.

The event celebrated not only the graduates' achievements but also emphasised the broader impact of empowering local talent within key sectors like tourism. This aligns with national goals of economic diversification and sustainable growth.

The initiative reflects a strategic effort to integrate more Emiratis into pivotal roles within tourism, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to national progress. By fostering local talent, Ras Al Khaimah aims to strengthen its position as a premier destination globally.

This approach underscores a commitment to nurturing homegrown expertise that can lead future developments in tourism and hospitality. It also highlights an ongoing effort to balance cultural preservation with economic advancement through strategic education programmes.

The reception at Nad Al Habi Majlis served as a testament to these efforts, celebrating both individual accomplishments and collective progress towards national objectives.
