Entrepreneurship Key To Ras Al Khaimah's Economic Growth, Says Ruler

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, recently highlighted the significant role of startups leveraging modern technologies and advanced innovations in driving the growth and prosperity of national economies and boosting their global competitiveness. During his speech at the opening of the "Seaside Startup Summit UAE 2024" held at the Longbeach Campground Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud emphasized the importance of investing in the youth and transforming inspiring ideas into creative projects to tackle global challenges across various vital sectors.

The summit, which runs until 28th February, has attracted more than 120 startups, over 20 international speakers and experts, and approximately 1,000 participants. Additionally, it expects to welcome around 2,000 visitors and guests from over 30 countries worldwide. The event aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences, discuss challenges, build partnerships, and enhance communication among startups on a local, regional, and global scale.
