Ramadan Readiness Confirmed As Presidency Unveils Operational Plan For Two Holy Mosques

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has confirmed full operational readiness for Ramadan. An integrated plan is now in effect to support worshippers and pilgrims. It aims to provide smooth religious services in secure surroundings, while strengthening the spiritual environment in both holy mosques during the month.

The plan focuses on enriching the worship experience for visitors arriving from many countries. It seeks to strengthen the educational and outreach role of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. Programs are designed to manage the high crowd levels in Ramadan and consider the international nature of those performing rituals.

Ramadan Readiness for Two Holy Mosques

The presidency stated that the Ramadan plan is built on ten strategic pillars and includes more than 100 initiatives. Alongside these come dozens of educational, guidance, and counselling programmes. Together, they support religious learning, spiritual preparation, and proper performance of rituals throughout the month in both mosques.

Key religious services in the plan include expanded lessons on Islamic topics and increased Quran memorisation circles. Guidance and counselling activities will be intensified, with specialised teams available. Dedicated channels will answer religious questions from worshippers. Copies of the Holy Quran, instructional booklets, and awareness messages will be distributed to deepen religious understanding and support personal reflection.

The Ramadan plan uses advanced digital tools to manage services and communicate with visitors. Language and translation offerings are being expanded, reflecting the cultural and linguistic diversity of worshippers. These tools aim to help non-Arabic speakers understand sermons, lessons, and instructions inside the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.

Ramadan plan for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque: institutional role

The presidency affirmed the readiness of staff, operating systems, and technical infrastructure to provide reliable services. These preparations seek to enable pilgrims to perform rituals with ease and comfort. The atmosphere is planned to support security, calm, and devotion while maintaining safe movement and organised access to facilities in both sites.

The presidency noted that the plan is based on principles of moderation and balance in religious guidance. It reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's established role in serving the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. The approach highlights institutional performance that supports the leadership's aims for the care and service of pilgrims during Ramadan.
