Over 150,000 Attendees Celebrate The Conclusion Of Ramadan Nights 2024 In Sharjah
The 41st edition of the Ramadan Nights Exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) concluded its 21-day run, marking a significant milestone with record-breaking sales and an unprecedented visitor turnout. The event, which took place from 21st March to 10th April, attracted more than 150,000 visitors, showcasing a remarkable 50 percent increase in attendance compared to its 2023 edition. This surge in visitors underscores the exhibition's growing popularity and its role in enhancing the festive Ramadan atmosphere with enticing offers and family-centric activities.
Supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition became a hub for shoppers seeking substantial discounts, with over 200 key retailers and around 500 international and local brands offering price reductions of up to 75 percent. The event was not only about shopping; it also featured a rich tapestry of heritage-inspired activities and artistic performances as part of the 34th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, further enriching the visitor experience.
The success of this year's exhibition is attributed to the combination of alluring promotions, valuable prizes, and a diverse range of activities that captivated attendees. The "Ramadan Nights" exhibition played a crucial role in revitalising commercial activity in the region, exceeding sales volume expectations and establishing itself as a pivotal event in the UAE's entertainment and marketing calendar.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and ECS, highlighted the tremendous success of the 2024 edition, reinforcing its significance as a premier event in the UAE. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, echoed this sentiment, noting the positive impact of the exhibition on the emirate's shopping landscape. The event featured wide participation from top retailers, major commercial hubs, and renowned international brands, offering visitors an unparalleled shopping experience.
Covering an area of over 16,000 square metres, the exhibition provided an array of surprises for visitors. From unique entertainment activities to valuable prizes and gifts, attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the enchanting ambience of Ramadan and Eid festivities in Sharjah. The Heritage Village curated interactive heritage-themed events and activities, offering an immersive experience that embraced the essence of Ramadan.
