Ramadan Enrichment Tracks Launched To Support Female Worshippers At Grand Mosque

The women’s affairs agency at the Presidency of Religious Affairs launches a Ramadan enrichment plan at the Grand Mosque, using six tracks and 24 initiatives to support female worshippers. The programme aims to improve religious services, strengthen Shariah awareness, and protect the sanctity of worship during the holy month.

The plan targets women visiting the Grand Mosque from varied backgrounds and languages, with services built around guidance, knowledge and organisation. It is designed to enrich the faith experience, support women’s participation in mosque activities, and align all operations with the mission of the two holy mosques.

According to the agency, the Ramadan enrichment plan is based on six main tracks: awareness and guidance; women’s scholarly and guidance affairs; enrichment and volunteering; women’s empowerment; public relations and institutional communication; and development and quality. Together, they form an integrated system that organises work and clarifies responsibilities.

These six tracks within the Ramadan enrichment plan combine spiritual, organisational and professional goals. They are structured to respond to crowd levels inside the Grand Mosque, address different worship needs, and ensure that women receive support in a clear and coordinated manner across all service points.

Within the Ramadan enrichment plan, the awareness and guidance track increases field presence in crowded areas of the Grand Mosque and surrounding courtyards. Staff provide direct Shariah guidance, answer questions, correct worship-related misunderstandings, and distribute awareness materials in several languages to reach as many female visitors as possible.

The women’s scholarly and guidance affairs track in the Ramadan enrichment plan delivers lessons, enrichment talks and specialised programmes. These activities support devotional jurisprudence, explain correct worship practices, and reinforce moderate Islamic values, helping female worshippers gain clearer religious understanding during their visits in Ramadan.
