The annual Gulfood exhibition, the largest food and beverage (F&B) event in the region, is currently underway at the Dubai World Trade Center, concluding on 22nd February. Among the participants is the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), which is actively showcasing its comprehensive business solutions tailored for global investors aiming to tap into the UAE's burgeoning F&B sector. This sector is witnessing substantial growth, fueled by an expanding expat population, high disposable incomes, diverse cultural preferences, and a strong GDP.
A report by Statista forecasts a bright future for the industry, predicting that per capita spending in the UAE’s F&B sector will reach approximately AED14,000 by 2025. This projection underscores the UAE's potential as a vibrant hub for F&B businesses looking for opportunities to expand and innovate. RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad emphasized the significance of innovation in the F&B industry, especially in light of technological advancements being showcased at Gulfood. He highlighted RAKEZ's commitment to supporting the F&B ecosystem's growth and transformation in Ras Al Khaimah and beyond.

RAKEZ stands as a pivotal platform for nearly 1,000 F&B companies from various sectors within the industry, including trading, catering services, distribution and logistics, and manufacturing. At this year’s Gulfood, RAKEZ is presenting its specialized business set-up solutions that are designed to assist over 5,500 exhibitors and investors from more than 190 countries. These solutions aim to help businesses leverage Ras Al Khaimah’s dynamic economic environment and access the broader UAE market effectively.
