RAKEZ India Roadshow Expands Engagement With Indian Businesses Across Mumbai, Goa And Tamil Nadu

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone is strengthening trade links with India as a priority market. India is already one of RAKEZ’s largest investor bases, helped by the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. More than 11,500 Indian companies now operate from RAKEZ, including SMEs and major names such as Royal Gulf Industries, Mahindra and Ashok Leyland, MSSL, and Dabur Naturelle.

Building on this base, RAKEZ organised a dedicated India road engagement effort covering three major locations. The initiative targeted entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and sector leaders that are planning regional expansion. The programme aimed to help Indian firms use the UAE, and specifically Ras Al Khaimah, as a strategic hub to scale operations into the wider Middle East and international markets.

RAKEZ India Roadshow Spurs UAE-India Growth

The RAKEZ India roadshow combined participation in major trade events with focused business-to-business meetings. The agenda included Jubilant Tamil Nadu, an international expo and knowledge summit, as well as outreach around PAMEX 2026 in Mumbai and India Energy Week in Goa. Each stop focused on practical routes for Indian companies to establish, expand, or diversify activities through facilities in Ras Al Khaimah.

Across the three cities, RAKEZ teams met companies from diverse manufacturing and services segments. Discussions addressed how firms can use RAKEZ for regional warehousing, industrial production, and service delivery. Delegates also examined regulatory frameworks, infrastructure readiness, and access to regional supply chains through the UAE. This approach supported India’s wider global growth plans while deepening UAE-India economic integration.

Key elements of the RAKEZ India roadshow across the three locations are summarised below.

During Jubilant Tamil Nadu, RAKEZ highlighted its one-stop shop framework for business set-up in the UAE. Teams explained streamlined company formation procedures and integrated services that cover business licensing, facility leasing, and UAE visa processing. Delegates also discussed flexible physical options, including coworking areas, offices, warehouses, land for new projects, and on-site labour accommodation supporting large industrial and manufacturing activities.

At PAMEX 2026 in Mumbai, RAKEZ held targeted B2B meetings with companies across print, packaging, paper converting, textile printing, and signage chains. These sessions explored how specialised manufacturers could base production or distribution activities in Ras Al Khaimah. In Goa, the delegation joined India Energy Week with the RAK Gas team, engaging with upstream and downstream firms, renewable energy companies, service providers, and energy-linked manufacturers assessing regional hub opportunities.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad said, "This roadshow reaffirmed the depth of interest among Indian businesses in using the UAE as a base for regional and international growth. By engaging directly with entrepreneurs and industry leaders across multiple cities and sectors, we were able to demonstrate how Ras Al Khaimah offers a clear, efficient pathway for companies looking to establish, operate, and scale with confidence from the UAE."

The RAKEZ India roadshow demonstrated sustained interest from Indian firms in structured expansion through the UAE. By combining event participation with focused B2B dialogues, RAKEZ provided clear information on regulatory support, facility options, and service integration in Ras Al Khaimah. These engagements are likely to deepen commercial ties under the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and support more Indian investors choosing RAKEZ for regional operations.
