RAKEZ Fosters Economic Growth In Ras Al Khaimah With Strategic Networking Events
Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering a robust business environment in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. In a strategic move, RAKEZ, in collaboration with Al Marjan and Alec, a premier contracting firm, organized a supplier introduction and networking session. This event is part of RAKEZ's monthly community event series, aiming to integrate its clients from the building and construction industry into the emirate’s infrastructural evolution. The focus is on ensuring these businesses can tap into the opportunities presented by ongoing development projects, including the notable Wynn Resorts.
The recent gathering saw participation from over 30 companies across various sectors such as MEP, Facades, Steel, Secondary Steel, Gypsums, Marble, Stone, Granite, Ceramics, Lighting, and Landscape. This initiative provided an invaluable platform for contractors and suppliers to explore collaborative opportunities for projects not just in Ras Al Khaimah but across the UAE.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad emphasized the organization's dedication to transforming Ras Al Khaimah into a leading business hub on both regional and international fronts. "Our commitment to our clients extends far beyond business set-up and after-service support," Jallad stated. He highlighted the nearly 30 key development projects by Marjan and RAK Properties currently underway or in the pipeline, alongside the significant infrastructural enhancements planned for Al Hamra Sector 6, RAK Central, and RAKEZ’s business and industrial parks.
The event received positive feedback from attendees. Mohammad Kalim Golandaz, Managing Director of Bond Chem, expressed his appreciation for RAKEZ’s efforts in prioritizing local manufacturers. "This exclusive networking event for suppliers truly reflects RAKEZ’s dedication to prioritizing local businesses," Golandaz noted. He commended the team for championing the interests of local enterprises and looked forward to the continued collaboration.
Similarly, Yasir Aman, Business Manager at H.B. Fuller, shared his enthusiasm for the networking opportunities provided by RAKEZ events. "We appreciate and eagerly anticipate RAKEZ events as they offer an excellent platform for us to showcase our skills and highlight our products’ strengths," Aman said.
Earlier this year, RAKEZ successfully hosted similar networking gatherings for sectors such as packaging, trading, and logistics. These events drew dozens of clients eager to exchange ideas and scout for potential business opportunities. Through these initiatives, RAKEZ continues to play a pivotal role in nurturing a thriving business community in Ras Al Khaimah, thereby contributing significantly to the emirate's economic growth and long-term prosperity.
