RAK Properties Partners With Arabian Warrior To Launch Olympic-Caliber Obstacle Course Racing In Ras Al Khaimah

RAK Properties has teamed up with Arabian Warrior to promote obstacle course racing in the region. This sport is set to be part of the 2028 Olympic Games. RAK Properties becomes the Title Partner for the Arabian Warrior Schools National Championship and an Official Partner for the Middle East event series. This collaboration highlights a commitment to sustainability and world-class service standards.

A semi-permanent facility will be established at RAK Properties’ Mina Al Arab development. This facility will cater to local schools, communities, and aspiring athletes, offering a top-notch training ground for obstacle course racing (OCR). The initiative aims to support physical fitness and mental well-being among participants.

Arabian Warrior plans to host several events across the GCC, including Ras Al Khaimah. The first-ever Arabian Warrior Schools National Championships will take place there. The series will start with seven week-long events across various emirates, engaging school children in OCR activities.

The announcement follows news that obstacle course racing has been included in the Modern Pentathlon for the 2028 Olympics. It is anticipated to become a standalone sport by 2032. Arabian Warrior will collaborate with top OCR athletes globally, using the Middle East as a training base ahead of the LA28 games.
