RAK Government Media Office Highlights UAE Media Evolution At Fujairah Forum
The Fujairah Media Forum, under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, recently unfolded with the theme "Parallel Media". This prestigious event, orchestrated by the Fujairah Government Media Office and Fujairah Culture and Media Authority in collaboration with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), brought together over 200 distinguished speakers. Among them were Arab ministers of information, editors, and representatives from both national and international news agencies, marking a significant gathering in the media industry.
Heba Fatani, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office (RAKGMO), made a notable contribution to the forum during a panel discussion titled "The UAE's Media Landscape". Fatani eloquently discussed the transformative journey of Ras Al Khaimah's media sector under the visionary guidance of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. She emphasized Sheikh Saud's belief in the pivotal role of media in driving comprehensive and sustainable development within the emirate.
Furthermore, Fatani shed light on RAKGMO's pivotal role in crafting key media messages that effectively portray the emirate on a global stage. Through leveraging innovative digital tools and creative strategies that align with global technological trends, RAKGMO has successfully communicated Ras Al Khaimah's achievements across various sectors. In her discourse, Fatani also highlighted the exemplary performance of media offices across the UAE in narrating the country's development journey to a worldwide audience. She underscored their dedication to promoting values of tolerance and openness towards diverse cultures and communities. Moreover, Fatani pointed out that the responsibilities of these media offices extend beyond mere news dissemination.
