RAK Chamber Engages High-Level Argentine Delegation To Strengthen Economic Ties

The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted a significant event with a delegation from Argentina called "Argentina's Day." The gathering aimed to explore potential investment and trade partnerships between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina, focusing on sectors like foodstuffs. The meeting took place at the Chamber's headquarters.

Youssef Ismail, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Saud bin Saqr Foundation for the Development of Youth Enterprises, highlighted the robust UAE-Argentina relations. He noted that these ties are built on collaboration and coordination. Ismail expressed hope for stronger economic and investment connections between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina, aiming to meet shared goals.

Strengthening Economic Ties with Argentina

The event saw participation from various dignitaries, including Dr. Ahmed Al Shemeili, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, and Jorge Agustin Arambarri, Ambassador of Argentina to the UAE. The Argentine delegation comprised Ministers of Trade and Production, heads of Chambers of Commerce, government officials, entrepreneurs from both regions in the food sector, and representatives from all Chamber departments.

Ismail reaffirmed the UAE's dedication to fostering a supportive business environment through legal frameworks. This commitment has positioned the UAE as a leader in economic indicators globally. He mentioned that Ras Al Khaimah Chamber is keen on facilitating business for Argentine investors across all sectors in collaboration with relevant authorities.

Ambassador Arambarri stressed Argentina's vision for strengthening strategic relations with Ras Al Khaimah. He noted their participation in the meeting was motivated by this vision. Arambarri expressed commitment to developing investment relations and partnerships with Ras Al Khaimah.

Focus on Opportunities

Ismail also highlighted that the Chamber is focused on identifying opportunities for companies from both regions. This includes enhancing efforts to facilitate business activities for Argentine investors in Ras Al Khaimah. The aim is to create a favourable atmosphere for trade and investment.

Ambassador Arambarri underscored Argentina's role in supporting businesses looking to export products abroad and attract investments. He emphasised the strategic importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Argentina and Ras Al Khaimah.

The meeting concluded with optimism about future collaborations between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina. Both parties are committed to exploring new avenues for partnership across various sectors, aiming to unlock broader potential for mutual benefit.
