Dubai Experiences Morning Rainfall, Temperatures To Fall

Be prepared as light rainfall was experienced early this morning in Dubai with the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) noting precipitation over areas such as Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Rashidiya, and Dubai International Airport. Given these conditions, drivers were cautioned to proceed with care, as wet surfaces can lead to slippery road conditions.

In the wake of the rain, the weather forecast promises a generally clear to partly cloudy day across the nation. Particularly in the northern and eastern regions, observers can anticipate the presence of low clouds.

As for the temperature, the inner parts of the country will experience a warm range of 25 to 29°C. Along the coast and islands, temperatures are predicted to slightly cool down, ranging between 24 to 28°C. The mountainous regions will enjoy cooler weather, with temperatures expected to hover between 12 to 17°C.

The Met Office's report further highlights that yesterday's peak temperature reached 27.3°C in Sweihan, Al Ain, at 2 pm. This indicates a steady climate pattern for the region, with temperatures maintaining a mild to warm range during this period.

As the day transitions into night, humidity levels are set to rise, particularly affecting some internal areas. This increase in humidity is expected to persist into Thursday morning, potentially affecting visibility during early hours.

The forecast also details light to moderate winds, which may intensify over the sea, reaching speeds between 10 to 20km/h and peaking at 35km/h. These conditions suggest that sailors and marine enthusiasts should exercise caution, especially in areas where winds are predicted to strengthen.

The sea state will vary between the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. The Arabian Gulf is anticipated to be rough, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain relatively calm to moderate. Mariners navigating these waters are advised to stay informed about the latest weather updates and proceed accordingly.
