The park's development includes Bahjat Raghadan Park, a 20,000-square-meter area featuring an artificial waterfall and an open-air theater. It also has children's play areas and the Lavender Garden, which connects to a central plaza and a 500-meter stone walkway. These features enhance the park's appeal as a family-friendly destination.

Raghadan Forest: A Summer Gem in Al-Baha

Dr. Ali Al-Sawat, Mayor of Al-Baha Region, highlighted Raghadan Forest Park as a major environmental and tourism landmark. He mentioned that several development projects were completed this year. These include the second phase of sidewalk upgrades extending 1,470 meters over 3,870 square meters and enhancing an 11,500-square-meter section of the park.

The park boasts comprehensive infrastructure to cater to visitors' needs. It has 1,230 parking spaces with 42 reserved for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, there are 14 playgrounds and 122 restrooms strategically placed throughout the facility to ensure convenience for all visitors.

During summer, Raghadan Forest attracts many visitors due to its entertainment and cultural events organized under the Al-Baha Summer Program. This initiative aims to enrich visitor experiences while promoting domestic tourism by offering diverse activities suitable for all ages.

The total green space within the park reaches approximately 384,787 square meters. This expansive area provides ample room for relaxation and leisure activities amidst nature's beauty. The park's design ensures that visitors can enjoy both tranquility and recreation in equal measure.

Dr. Al-Sawat also noted the creation of a new walking path measuring 230 meters in length and covering an area of 944 square meters. This addition further enhances accessibility within the park while encouraging healthy outdoor activities among visitors.

Raghadan Forest Park stands as a testament to Al-Baha Municipality's commitment to developing eco-friendly tourist attractions that blend seamlessly with their natural surroundings. Its ongoing improvements reflect efforts to maintain its status as a premier destination for both locals and tourists alike.
