Rafha's Volunteer Efforts Showcase National Commitment To Community Service And Development

Volunteer work in Saudi Arabia is a significant expression of national generosity, enhancing community involvement and belonging. Nonprofit organizations have broadened their initiatives to align with Saudi Vision 2030, where volunteerism is pivotal for sustainable development. In Rafha, one group organized diverse programs such as a walking event with 30 volunteers and an iftar program attended by over 250 people.

Another organization has significantly contributed to the volunteer landscape by listing 47 opportunities on the National Volunteer Portal. These initiatives included Founding Day activities, a heritage costume contest, career guidance sessions, and health-focused walking programs. A total of 92 volunteers participated, contributing over 3,044 hours of service.

Rafha's Commitment to Community Service

The efforts in Rafha also included International Volunteer Day activities that documented approximately 65,000 volunteer hours. Other initiatives involved mosque incense activities with 20 volunteers and a winter clothing distribution campaign engaging 30 volunteers. These activities highlight the community's commitment to volunteerism.

Additional humanitarian projects like 'Gift to the Patient' and 'Gift to the Traveler' were undertaken. These efforts engaged 1,105 volunteers who provided 11,491 hours of service. More than 7,000 educational materials were distributed as part of these outreach initiatives.

Another association offered 35 volunteer opportunities involving 259 participants who recorded 3,771 hours across various fields. This reflects the Kingdom's values of generosity and emphasizes that volunteerism is both a national and humanitarian mission.

The spirit of volunteerism in Saudi Arabia underscores the bond between leadership and citizens. It aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s ambitious goal of reaching one million volunteers by the end of the decade.
