Rabdan Academy Establishes Strategic Partnerships At Centres Of Excellence 2024 Conference In Abu Dhabi

Rabdan Academy has announced the signing of the second edition of the Centres of Excellence 2024 conference. This event, themed "Agility & Resilience of 1st Responders," took place in Abu Dhabi on 30-31 October 2024. The Academy is a global leader in safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.

Rabdan Academy has entered into a cooperation agreement with Mutah University from Jordan. Present at the signing were James Anthony Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, and Prof. Salama Saleh Suleiman Al-Naimat, President of Mutah University. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in research and development by exchanging experiences and technologies.

Rabdan Academy Forms Key Partnerships in Abu Dhabi

Another significant partnership was formed with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). Mouza Suhail Al Muhairi, Deputy Director-General for Regulatory and Administrative Affairs at ADAFSA, represented the authority. This agreement focuses on exchanging training experiences and developing capacity-building projects.

The agreements align with Rabdan Academy’s strategy to foster cooperation with governmental and academic institutions globally. These partnerships are part of efforts to develop skills in safety, security, and defence as per UAE leadership directives. The goal is to enhance national resilience against emergencies and global challenges.

James Anthony Morse highlighted that these agreements aim to expand joint cooperation prospects. He stated that they help build strategic partnerships by exchanging knowledge with experts from government and private sectors related to safety, security, defence, and crisis management affairs.

Prof. Salama Saleh Suleiman Al-Naimat emphasised that the partnership with Rabdan Academy strengthens academic cooperation between the two institutions. He noted that it reflects strong ties between Jordanian and Emirati peoples and leaderships. The agreement seeks to exchange scientific experiences and open new opportunities for students.

Enhancing Academic Programmes

Al-Naimat also pointed out that this collaboration will aid in developing academic programmes and joint research projects. It will provide opportunities for student exchanges, enhancing both institutions' roles in serving local and international communities. He expressed excitement about this beneficial cooperation.

Mouza Suhail Al Muhairi confirmed that the ADAFSA agreement marks an important step towards enhancing research cooperation with leading institutions. She highlighted ADAFSA's commitment to investing in scientific research as a pillar for achieving food security and sustainable agricultural development.
