Rabdan Academy Concludes Future Leaders Fair Connecting Students With Career Pathways In Security And Defence
The Rabdan Future Leaders Fair recently concluded at Rabdan Academy in Abu Dhabi. This three-day event attracted over 900 students from eight Charter Schools, offering them a chance to connect academic goals with real-world career paths in security, defence, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. The fair aimed to empower the next generation with informed decision-making skills.
James Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, highlighted the significance of the fair in raising awareness among young Emiratis about specialised education's role in national security. He expressed pride in the students' enthusiasm for security and defence fields. "Empowering youth with the right knowledge, mindset, and skills is an investment in the UAE’s continued stability and progress," he stated.

The event featured active participation from key national entities such as the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, and Abu Dhabi Police. This collaboration underscores a unified approach to nurturing future-ready talents in vital sectors. Students gained insights into academic programmes and career paths through leading institutions like Zayed Military University and Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College.
Over 200 sessions were conducted during the fair, covering various topics including Rabdan Academy’s programs, admission criteria, and scholarships. Sessions on smart traffic awareness, drug-prevention education, policing demonstrations, and K9 unit showcases also engaged students actively. These activities provided a comprehensive view of opportunities within these fields.
More than 100 student volunteers from Rabdan Academy played a crucial role in organising and facilitating activities throughout the event. Their involvement demonstrated leadership qualities and civic responsibility while embodying the Academy’s culture of service and teamwork. This participation was vital for the smooth execution of the fair.
