Quality Of Life Program Drives Vision 2030 Goals With Over 170 Strategic Initiatives

The "Quality of Life Program" is a vital part of Vision 2030, aiming to enrich the lives of Saudi citizens. It integrates culture, sports, arts, and entertainment into a cohesive national framework. Developing tourism is another major goal, with plans to improve expatriate living conditions. The program aims to create one million direct jobs in tourism by 2030, contributing 10% to GDP. Khalid bin Abdullah AlBaker, Chief Executive of the Quality of Life Program, emphasized these strategies for sustainability and continuous improvement.

The program's ambitious targets include attracting 100 million tourists by 2023 and increasing this number to 150 million by 2030. This growth is expected to unlock substantial investment opportunities in the tourism sector. Since Vision 2030's launch, Saudi Arabia has seen significant transformations in this area.

To achieve these goals, over 170 initiatives are being implemented with the involvement of 17 executive bodies. Progress is tracked using periodic indicators that are evaluated quarterly, semi-annually, or annually based on their nature. These measures ensure that objectives are met efficiently.

The program also encourages Saudi contributions to arts and culture while enhancing entertainment options. By focusing on these areas, it aims to foster a vibrant cultural environment that benefits both residents and visitors alike.
