Ras Al Khaimah Hosts QS Higher Education Summit To Elevate Middle East's Education Quality

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RAK Ceramics, inaugurated the QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK). This significant three-day event, which commenced recently, focuses on "Cultures of Innovation: Elevating quality education for a thriving Middle East". The summit has seen the participation of distinguished figures such as Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education; Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation; alongside numerous officials, academics, and leaders from universities across the Middle East and beyond.

During his opening address, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud highlighted the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah, under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, to enhance the standard of higher education. This initiative aims to cultivate well-informed and skilled individuals capable of spearheading growth and prosperity within the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah, and the wider region.
