Qiddiya Investment Company And Six Flags Enter Management Agreement For Two Major Parks
Qiddya Investment Company has entered into a Management Services Agreement with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. This agreement appoints Six Flags as the official operator for both Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia Water Theme Park. The parks are scheduled to open in late 2025, promising thrilling experiences for visitors.
Six Flags Qiddiya City will feature 28 rides, including the world's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster, Falcons Flight. Adjacent to it, Aquarabia Water Theme Park will offer 22 advanced water rides, such as the tallest water coaster and double-loop slide globally. These attractions aim to redefine family entertainment standards in the region.

The development of Qiddiya City is a key component of Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative seeks to diversify the economy and position Saudi Arabia as a global tourism leader. The project involves a multi-billion-dollar investment to boost economic growth, create jobs, and attract millions of visitors annually.
Abdullah Al Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Six Flags. "We are excited to collaborate with Six Flags as we take Qiddiya City to the next level," he stated. He highlighted that their expertise would help create memorable experiences while supporting Saudi Arabia's cultural and economic growth.
Under this agreement, Brian Machamer will continue leading operations as President of both parks. His leadership since 2019 ensures continuity in delivering exceptional visitor experiences. The collaboration between Six Flags' operational excellence and Qiddiya's visionary leadership aims to set new benchmarks in Saudi Arabia's tourism sector.
Selim Bassoul, Executive Chairman of Six Flags, emphasized the importance of this operational agreement. "This operational agreement represents an important step forward," he said. He reiterated their commitment to supporting Qiddiya’s vision by creating high-quality experiences that engage and inspire visitors of all ages.
Job Creation and Local Talent Development
