The new 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, is set to open in 2026. It will feature innovative design elements like a '3 hole return' layout to increase accessibility for players. Additionally, a state-of-the-art clubhouse, academy, and practice facilities are scheduled to open in 2028.

Qiddiya City Partners with Faldo Series for Golf Course

Qiddiya City's golf course is designed to be both challenging for professionals and accessible for amateurs. It includes floodlighting for extended play hours and offers tailored learning pathways for newcomers. The course combines traditional golfing elements with modern entertainment experiences.

The course is situated against the dramatic backdrop of the Tuwaiq Mountains' 200-metre cliffs. This setting enhances the playability and aesthetic appeal of the venue. The design incorporates sustainability features alongside world-class golfing amenities.

The clubhouse will serve as a vibrant community hub, offering fitness, wellness facilities, social meeting spaces, pools, and diverse dining options. It aims to attract over 200,000 visitors annually by providing a comprehensive range of amenities that support both the golf course and community activities.

A green-roofed structure will connect three main zones: the Golf Clubhouse, Social Wellness Hub, and Academy. These areas will offer sports and leisure amenities while fostering player interaction and instruction.
