Qatar’s Labour Minister Lauds UAE’s Emiratisation Achievements In Private Sector
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, recently welcomed Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Minister of Labour of Qatar, along with his delegation from the Qatari Ministry of Labour, to the UAE. This visit marks a significant step in strengthening the bilateral relations between the UAE and Qatar, particularly in the sectors of human resources development and labour.

The presence of key officials from both countries, including Khalil Al Khoori, Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE); Ayesha Belharfia, the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Emiratisation Affairs; Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council; and Sheikha Najwa Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary for Migrant Labour Affairs at the Qatari Ministry of Labour, underscored the meeting's importance.
The Qatari delegation was introduced to the Nafis programme among other initiatives aimed at boosting Emiratisation in the private sector.
