PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) highlighted in its Middle East's Qatar Economy Watch the country's commitment to leveraging the latest technologies to enhance its competitive stance on the global stage. Qatar's approach includes significant investments in AI research, applications, regulatory frameworks, and infrastructure, positioning it as a strategic player in the technological landscape.
The integration of AI into Qatar's national agenda is a multifaceted strategy aimed at enhancing government services and key sectors. This involves creating a regulatory foundation for AI, establishing national sovereign AI infrastructure, forming an AI economic cluster, and adopting AI government-wide. These strategic actions are designed to fulfill the NDS-3 objectives, aiming at technological advancement and economic growth.

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Qatar, are investing in research, policy-making, and talent development to exploit AI for economic growth.
