PureHealth And ZHO Collaborate To Enhance Social Inclusion In Abu Dhabi
In a significant move towards fostering social inclusion and empowerment, PureHealth, along with its subsidiary Rafed, has joined forces with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO). This collaboration is set to ensure the procurement of products crafted by People of Determination across the PureHealth group. This initiative is a testament to the commitment of these organizations to the UAE Government’s agenda and the Abu Dhabi Strategy for People of Determination, aiming to empower all community members.
The partnership focuses on creating a framework that not only supports People of Determination by integrating their products into the PureHealth group but also actively involves them in the wider community. This agreement will see PureHealth and Rafed collaborating with ZHO on various initiatives designed to enhance the visibility and prioritization of products and services provided by People of Determination, adhering to quality and procurement standards.

The agreement was formalized through a signing ceremony attended by Rashed Al Qubaisi, Group Chief Corporate Officer of PureHealth, and Abdullah Abdul-Ali Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination. Al Qubaisi highlighted the initiative as a step towards celebrating diversity and abilities, aiming to foster a more inclusive society. He emphasized that inclusion not only enriches lives but also brings invaluable perspectives and skills into the community, contributing to socioeconomic progress.
Abdullah Abdul-Ali Al Humaidan expressed pride in the partnership, noting its significance in enabling financial, cultural, and social empowerment for People of Determination. He also pointed out that this collaboration would contribute to their financial independence, promoting inclusiveness and equality. The partnership will focus on promoting bee-branded products made by ZHO members, including advanced 3D-printed or prosthetic medical limb supports and medical textiles such as nursing uniforms and bedding essentials.
This cooperation aligns with PureHealth’s commitment to supporting the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme and local suppliers. The group has pledged AED13 billion in local procurement by 2032, aiming to develop the UAE’s indigenous manufacturing sector and enhance its competitiveness both regionally and globally. Through such initiatives, PureHealth, Rafed, and ZHO are setting a precedent for how organizations can work together to support social empowerment and inclusion.
