The Ministry of Finance is seeking opinions on a project titled ‘Amendments on the Executive Regulation of Government Tenders and Procurement Law.’ The proposed changes aim to clarify contract termination standards for public interest and address concerns about final guarantee confiscations. Public input will be accepted until a specified date.

Istitlaa Invites Feedback on 31 Projects

Another significant project by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is ‘Ice Cream Shop Requirements.’ This initiative aims to enhance the business environment, meet societal goals, support investors in this field, and improve food safety standards. Public feedback is open until a designated deadline.

The Saudi Building Code Center is inviting comments on the ‘Executive Regulations of the Saudi Building Code.’ This framework seeks alignment with Royal Decree No. 204, which amended the Saudi Building Code Law. It also aims to ensure compliance with organizational arrangements set by Cabinet Resolution No. 656. The consultation period remains open until a specific date.

The Ministry of Commerce has proposed changes to Article 10 of the Implementing Regulations of the Chambers of Commerce Law. The goal is to enhance decision-making flexibility, reduce administrative costs for chamber boards, boost private sector engagement, and adapt to economic shifts while embracing digital transformation. Feedback is welcome until a stated deadline.

Security and Non-Profit Sector Initiatives

The Ministry of Interior has introduced a project called ‘Law of Facility Security’ on Istitlaa. This law aims to regulate procedures for safeguarding facilities against external threats and ensuring internal security while promoting coordination among relevant entities. Public feedback is encouraged until a specified date.

The National Center for Non-Profit Sector seeks input on ‘Guidelines for the Establishment of Non-Profit Entities by Government Agencies.’ This framework intends to regulate non-profit entity formation by government agencies, clarifying formation procedures and management mechanisms. The consultation period remains open until a particular date.
