SPEA Approves Fourth Term Of Private Schools Directors Council In Sharjah
The Sharjah Private Education Authority has confirmed the new formation of the Private Schools Directors Council for its fourth term, aiming to strengthen how private schools share expertise, support policy discussions, and align their work with wider education goals in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Acting as an advisory group, the Private Schools Directors Council represents private schools across the emirate, giving school leaders a structured channel to provide feedback, propose ideas, and support decisions that affect teaching quality, learner outcomes, and institutional performance in Sharjah’s private education sector.

The Authority stated that the updated council line-up follows an official meeting held with the participation of private school directors. During this meeting the fourth-term leadership was agreed, defining clear roles so that council tasks, consultation work, and communication with SPEA remain organised and accountable.
The new formation appoints Majd Madi Al Sheikh Hussein as Chair of the Council and names James Stanley Stirance as Vice-Chair. In executive roles, Raed Sobhi Youssef Abdullah and Samar Al Shalabi Murad are assigned as Executive Members, while Valerie Louise Thompson is confirmed as Secretary of the Council.
