Empowering Female Leaders: Princess Nourah University's Center Achieves Milestones
The Women's Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has launched seven programs and initiatives, along with 25 research papers, to support female leaders. These efforts have focused on training, development, consulting, professional support, and enhancing professional networking.
Among the notable programs implemented by the center are "Qiyadya," "Qudwa," "Coaching," and "Assessment Tools." The "Qiyadya" program equips women with essential leadership skills, addressing challenges in the Saudi labor market. The "Qudwa" mentoring program aims to boost job satisfaction and enhance professional performance.

The "Coaching" program emphasizes human development, relationships, health, and professional success. Meanwhile, the "Assessment Tools" program measures and explains leadership behaviors and practices. It also evaluates competencies and skills that reflect effective leadership.
The center has also launched qualitative initiatives like the first Women's Research Camp. This camp supports publishing women's research in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Additionally, the "Rafqa" platform facilitates communication among professional women in the Kingdom, allowing them to share personal experiences and discuss challenges.
The "Samawat Book Club" is another initiative that selects inspiring books related to women's issues in leadership for reading, discussion, and interaction. These initiatives aim to foster a supportive community for women leaders.
Impact on Female Leaders
By the end of the Hijri year 1445 AH, over 700 female leaders from various government and private sectors had benefited from these initiatives. The center's programs have provided significant support in developing leadership skills among women across different sectors.
The official opening of the Women's Leadership Center took place in 2022. This establishment aligns with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's goal to empower women as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
This initiative aims to involve a large number of female workers practicing leadership in national development sectors. The university's role as the largest women's university globally underscores its commitment to women's empowerment.
These comprehensive efforts by the Women's Leadership Center highlight its dedication to fostering a supportive environment for female leaders in Saudi Arabia.
