Prince Sultan Bin Salman Emphasises National Heritage As Key Economic Driver Under Vision 2030

The annual meeting of the non-profit Heritage Foundation was inaugurated by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The event, themed "Confident Steps Toward the Future," took place at the Riyadh International Book Fair (RIBF) Theater. A documentary showcasing the foundation's journey and significant milestones over more than 25 years was presented at the start of the meeting.

Another film highlighted the launch of the book "King Salman" at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran. This initiative by the Heritage Foundation, supported by Saudi Aramco, coincided with Saudi Arabia's 94th National Day. Prince Sultan emphasised that RIBF demonstrates Saudi Arabia's commitment to culture and national heritage, which are poised to become major economic drivers.

National Heritage to Drive Economy Under Vision 2030

Prince Sultan noted that since its inception 28 years ago, the Heritage Foundation has seen continuous growth. It has made significant contributions in publishing books, conducting research, archiving historical photographs, and documenting national history over more than a quarter-century. These efforts reflect its dedication to preserving and promoting Saudi heritage.

The book "King Salman" offers insights into various phases of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's life alongside founding King Abdulaziz and other Saudi kings. Prince Sultan described it as a gift to the nation, celebrating its rich history and leadership.

A new documentary titled "Okath Al-Badr," produced with a fresh perspective by the Heritage Foundation, was also discussed by Prince Sultan. This film captures rare moments and stories of Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz, offering viewers a unique glimpse into his life and contributions.

The meeting drew attendance from numerous princes, officials, and ambassadors to Saudi Arabia. Their presence underscored the importance of cultural preservation and heritage promotion within the Kingdom.

The Heritage Foundation continues to play a vital role in safeguarding Saudi Arabia's cultural legacy through its various initiatives and projects. Its ongoing efforts ensure that future generations can appreciate and learn from their nation's rich history.
