Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Reveals Winners Of King Khalid Award For Sustainable Development
Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the King Khalid Award Committee, announced the winners of the King Khalid Award 2025. The announcement took place at a news conference at the King Khalid Foundation headquarters in Riyadh. The awards included the Development Partners Award, Excellence in Non-Profit Organizations Award, and Sustainability Award.
The stc Group secured first place in the Sustainability Award category. This award acknowledges private-sector entities that incorporate innovative sustainability practices into their operations. These practices must deliver measurable social, economic, and environmental impacts. The recognition highlights stc Group's commitment to sustainable development within its business model.

The Charity Society for Orphan Care in Eastern Region, known as Benaa, was awarded first place for Excellence in Non-Profit Organizations. Benaa was recognised for its exemplary administrative performance and adoption of best practices in serving its beneficiaries. This accolade underscores Benaa's dedication to improving service delivery within the non-profit sector.
The "Moddakir" application won first place in the Development Partners Award category. This initiative focuses on teaching the Holy Quran and was praised for providing innovative solutions to social and economic challenges in Saudi Arabia. The program is designed to achieve lasting social impact through its educational offerings.
Prince Faisal bin Khalid highlighted that this year's winners exemplify a model of work that demonstrates sustainable development's impact in Saudi Arabia. He noted that these winners showcase how individuals, organizations, and the private sector can innovate solutions meeting societal aspirations. This approach aligns with the guiding principles of the King Khalid Foundation since its inception.
