Prince Abdulaziz Bin Talal Launches Sixth Edition Of ‘Talal: A History Read By Generations’ Exhibition In Alexandria

The sixth edition of the 'Talal: A History Read by Generations' exhibition was inaugurated by Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, alongside Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed Hegab, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. This event coincides with the International Day of Charity and is hosted at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

In his speech, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted that the exhibition displays artifacts and information about the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz's humanitarian and charitable efforts. He stated that its purpose is to strengthen humanitarian work across generations. Alexandria played a significant role in Prince Talal’s life, showcasing his dedication to humanity, development, and Arab causes.

Prince Abdulaziz Launches Talal Exhibition

The exhibition spans 11 pavilions, detailing key moments from Prince Talal’s life. It covers his upbringing, six-decade developmental journey until his passing in 2018, early responsibilities, and the establishment of 20 institutions across various Arab countries. A special pavilion focuses on his intellectual and cultural ties with Egypt, highlighting his relationship with Alexandria and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Documentary screenings on Prince Talal’s biography were featured during the opening. These screenings included a review of previous editions of the exhibition. The event aims to consolidate humanitarian efforts across generations by showcasing these historical narratives.

The exhibition will be accessible to the public today and tomorrow at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center. It will include cultural activities such as seminars discussing Prince Talal’s vision for education, empowerment, and sustainable development.

Prince Abdulaziz emphasized that this exhibition serves as a testament to Prince Talal's lifelong commitment to humanitarian causes. His passion for development and dedication to Arab issues are reflected throughout this event.
