Presight AI Startup Accelerator Unveils First Cohort Of Ten Global Startups For Growth And Innovation
Presight has revealed the ten startups chosen for its AI-Startup Accelerator, a programme aimed at rapidly advancing AI startups. This initiative attracted 120 applications from 17 countries, covering sectors like Smart Cities, Fintech, and Energy. The selection process culminated in final pitch days on 2–3 June, with presentations held both in-person in Abu Dhabi and virtually.
The finalists had collectively raised over US$150 million, supported by global accelerators such as Microsoft and Google. This highlights the high calibre of participants. Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, stated, "The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator is more than a program—it’s a strategic growth engine for both visionary startups and Presight itself."

The accelerator aims to identify promising AI innovations worldwide and integrate them into Presight's ecosystem. By providing infrastructure, mentorship, and market access to these startups, Presight seeks to accelerate their growth while enhancing its own innovation pipeline. This strategy enables faster development of world-class AI solutions compared to traditional R&D or acquisitions.
During the evaluation process, emphasis was placed on readiness to scale and alignment with Presight’s business focus. The ten selected startups are seen as having the strongest potential within Presight’s ecosystem. "These 10 startups represent the strongest potential for impact within Presight’s ecosystem," Pramotedham added.
The winning startups include Derq (UAE/USA), which offers AI-powered intelligent transportation systems; Resync (Singapore), focusing on energy efficiency; AlphaGeo (Singapore), providing climate risk analytics; Zypl.ai (UAE/Tajikistan), enhancing financial services through AI; AJARI.ai (Indonesia/Singapore), offering education solutions; Waverity (Azerbaijan), improving seismic data interpretation; Vulcan (UAE), providing GenAI security tools; NodeShift (UAE/USA), offering a sovereign AI cloud platform; Maiden Century (USA), developing investment insights platforms; and Cobi (UAE/USA), enhancing business intelligence.
Judging Panel and Bootcamp Details
A distinguished jury evaluated each startup's pitch before selecting the winners. The panel included Kareem Okeili from Microsoft, Sultan Al Hajji from MBZUAI, and Darsh Singh Mann from Stanford University's StartX. Senior management from Presight also participated in the judging process.
The selected startups will now participate in the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi. This programme offers technical mentoring and strategic market access to help scale their operations. It includes product refinement and prepares them for venture capital funding during demo day.
Presight's initiative underscores its commitment to fostering innovation within the AI sector by supporting emerging companies with resources needed for growth. This approach not only benefits the startups but also enhances Presight's capabilities in delivering advanced AI solutions across various industries.
