UAE President Lauds Emirati Youth As Cornerstone Of Nation’s Prosperity
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sandooq Al Watan, highlighted President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's trust in Emirati youth. He believes they are the nation's true wealth and the architects of its renaissance.
During a reception for Jusoor International Exchange Programme graduates, Sheikh Nahyan stated, "We learned from the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan that striving, determination, perseverance, self-belief, and adherence to noble human values are the path to achieving all goals and overcoming the impossible. Following this path, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has led the nation to a level of renaissance, growth, and prosperity that many around the world have been unable to achieve. Under his wise leadership, the UAE has become a model of progress and a beacon of commitment to human values. The sons and daughters of Zayed must continue to aspire, work, take pride in themselves, and strive to achieve all their goals."
The Jusoor International Exchange Programme included theoretical training at branches of major German companies in the UAE. This was followed by practical training at these companies' factories in Germany. Managers and experts praised Emirati students' abilities to adapt and grasp advanced technological methods in engineering and technical fields.
The ceremony honoured 25 students: 10 from Khalifa University, 10 from United Arab Emirates University, three from Higher Colleges of Technology, and two from American University of Sharjah. The event was attended by trainers and organisers from Sandooq Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Nahyan emphasised that under Sheikh Mohamed's leadership, the UAE has achieved unprecedented growth. The nation is now seen as a model of progress globally. He urged Emirati youth to continue working hard and taking pride in their achievements.
The programme's success reflects the UAE's commitment to fostering talent among its youth. It also showcases how international collaboration can enhance skills and knowledge.
The event celebrated not just academic achievements but also the potential for future contributions by these young Emiratis. Their training abroad equips them with valuable experience that will benefit both their personal growth and national development.
This initiative underscores the importance placed on education and skill development in shaping the future leaders of the UAE. It also highlights how such programmes can bridge gaps between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The presence of trainers and organisers at the ceremony signifies their dedication to nurturing young talent. Their involvement ensures that these programmes are effective in providing real-world experience.
In summary, Sheikh Nahyan's remarks during this event reflect a broader vision for empowering Emirati youth through education and international exposure. This approach aims to prepare them for significant roles in driving national progress.
