President Of UAE Show Jumping Cup Highlights Equestrian Legacy And Development In The UAE
The President of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, highlighted the significance of the upcoming President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup. Scheduled from 10th to 13th April at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, this event underscores the importance of equestrian sports in the UAE. It reflects a commitment to advancing equestrianism in line with leadership's vision.
Al Raisi expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his unwavering support of equestrian activities both domestically and internationally. This backing enhances the UAE's global reputation in promoting purebred Arabian horses, continuing the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was dedicated to preserving equestrian heritage.

The Federation is committed to fostering greater participation among riders, horse owners, and trainers through various competitions. By adopting advanced programmes and strategic plans, they aim to enhance all facets of equestrian sports. These efforts align with national strategies that promote global competitiveness for Emirati athletes.
Al Raisi noted that extending the season and introducing more tournaments allows for increased participation from horses and riders. This initiative aims to create an environment conducive to excellence and achieving high success rates in competitive events.
Speaking with Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Raisi emphasised that elite riders' participation highlights the championship's prestige and strong interest it garners. He commended the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club's exceptional organisational preparations, ensuring a professional level befitting such a significant event.
