UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Welcomed By Hungary's President In Official Ceremony
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest during his official trip to Hungary. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Hungarian President His Excellency Tamás Sulyok. An official ceremony took place at Kossuth Lajos Square, where the UAE President's motorcade was accompanied by a horseback procession.
The ceremony included performances of the national anthems of both nations. His Highness then inspected the guard of honour and met with senior Hungarian ministers and officials. The Hungarian President also welcomed members of the delegation accompanying His Highness.
The UAE President was joined by a distinguished delegation. This included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other notable members were Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, and Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
Additional delegates included Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade; Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family; and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State. Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet, was also part of the group.
Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei attended as Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office. Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, was present too. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, participated alongside Saud Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Hungary.
The visit highlighted strong ties between the UAE and Hungary through diplomatic engagements and cultural exchanges. The presence of numerous high-ranking officials underscored the importance placed on this bilateral relationship by both nations.
