Presidency Of Religious Affairs Unveils Operational Plan For Hajj Season 1446 With Digital Enhancements

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has unveiled its operational plan for the Hajj season 1446. This plan is the largest since organisational arrangements were established. It features 120 enrichment initiatives and 10 smart enrichment tracks aimed at enhancing pilgrims' digital experiences. Additionally, it includes 50 scientific and intellectual programs, supported by over 2,000 qualified Saudi employees dedicated to serving visitors of the two holy mosques.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, highlighted that the leadership has allocated all necessary resources to ensure a distinguished experience for mosque visitors. The focus is on enhancing pilgrims' faith through digital transformation tools and artificial intelligence. He stressed that this operational plan aligns with national goals for digital transformation and technological leadership.

Hajj Season 1446 Operational Plan Launched

The operational plan emphasises digital and smart transformation projects, addressing visitors in multiple languages. This reflects the religious presidency's commitment to keeping pace with national visions for digital advancement. The use of technology, smart technologies, and artificial robotics plays a crucial role in this initiative.

Interactive, smart, multilingual digital platforms will be used to highlight the moderate message of Hajj season 1446 AH. These platforms aim to reflect Sharia objectives while promoting balanced Islamic values. The goal is to convey these messages effectively across different languages.

The operational plan is built on three main pillars: honouring time by affirming Hajj's virtue and global message of moderation; enhancing its status; and glorifying the place's honour. Another objective is disseminating guidance from the Two Holy Mosques worldwide by offering a rich faith experience based on quality, mastery, and innovation.

This approach operates within a harmonious institutional framework that supports achieving moderation in Hajj and conveying its impact globally in various languages. The plan aims to provide a comprehensive faith experience that resonates with people worldwide.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais noted that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to enhance pilgrims' experiences through advanced technology and innovative solutions. By focusing on these areas, the Presidency aims to deliver an enriching experience for all visitors during this significant religious event.
