PrecisionMed Exhibition And Summit Returns To Dubai With Top Healthcare Experts
The UAE is set to host the third edition of the PrecisionMed Exhibition & Summit (PMES) on 8th to 9th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event, under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), is a significant gathering in the healthcare sector. PMES UAE 2024 aims to bring together over 5,000 participants, including key stakeholders from hospital management, government regulators, policymakers, clinicians, laboratory heads, and professionals from the pharma and bio-pharma industries, alongside innovators and investors.
Dr. Asma Ibrahim Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Research and Innovation Centre at DoH, is slated to inaugurate the scientific conference. The event will feature an impressive roster of speakers such as Dr. Mariam Al Mazrouei of DoH; Dr. Khulood Alsayegh from DHA; Dr. Heidi Rehm, a Harvard Medical School professor from Massachusetts General Hospital; Dr. Ahmad Abou Tayoun of Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital Genomics Center of Excellence; and Professor Faisal Alsaif, Director of Health Planning at NEOM Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

David Stradling, Managing Director of PMES, highlighted the evolution of precision medicine from a niche concept to a central element in the future of medical care in the GCC and beyond. He emphasized that PMES's mission extends beyond just showcasing innovations; it aims to democratize access to healthcare information and foster awareness about the capabilities of precision and preventative medicine.
