Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Kamil Gawkowski Engages Investors At Federation Of Saudi Chambers Meeting

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Kamil Gawkowski revealed that 30 Polish companies are in the process of setting up headquarters in Saudi Arabia. He assured that Poland is prepared to facilitate Saudi investments by providing guarantees and necessary support. This announcement was made during a meeting at the Federation of Saudi Chambers, attended by federation Chairman Hassan bin Moejeb Al-Huwaizi, along with investors and officials from both nations.

Assistant Minister of Investment and Chief Executive of the Saudi Investment Marketing Authority (SIPA) Ibrahim Almubarak highlighted Saudi Arabia's robust digital infrastructure, describing it as world-class. He pointed out collaboration opportunities in sectors such as food security, agriculture, and technology. Almubarak emphasized Poland’s strategic position as a gateway to European and Arab markets for Saudi enterprises.

Polish Deputy PM Meets Investors in Saudi Arabia

Gawkowski commended Saudi Arabia's progress in technology, digitization, and artificial intelligence (AI), noting these advancements as exemplary for the Middle East region. He also mentioned that several Polish firms have already obtained licenses to establish branches within the Kingdom. This move signifies a growing partnership between the two countries in technological fields.

The meeting included presentations by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority alongside their Polish counterparts. These presentations focused on digital infrastructure, services, and investment opportunities in technology and digital transformation across both nations. Such collaborations aim to strengthen ties in technological advancements.

Al-Huwaizi remarked that this meeting builds on the achievements of a recent delegation visit to Poland. He expressed optimism about further enhancing bilateral trade, which currently stands at approximately $9 billion annually. The focus remains on increasing trade exchanges between the two countries through strategic partnerships.

Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Business Council Abdullah bin Mohammed Abu Dubeil announced plans for Polish companies to establish headquarters in Saudi Arabia by early 2025. Additionally, he revealed plans for a joint action plan development and hosting a Polish business exhibition in the Kingdom to foster business relations further.

This collaborative effort between Poland and Saudi Arabia reflects a mutual interest in expanding economic ties through strategic investments and technological advancements. Both countries are keen on leveraging each other's strengths to enhance their global market presence while fostering innovation in various sectors.
