UAE To Experience Pleasant Weather During Ramadan Amidst Gradual Temperature Rise

Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, reflection, and community, is set to begin tomorrow, March 11th, under mostly pleasant weather conditions across the UAE. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has provided a detailed forecast for the period, indicating comfortable nights and mornings with a gradual increase in temperatures as the month progresses.

According to the NCM, residents can expect night and early morning temperatures to range between 18°C and 21°C. However, those in some inland areas should be ready for cooler temperatures, with lows potentially reaching 3°C. Daytime temperatures will start on the milder side, averaging between 29°C and 34°C but are predicted to rise gradually. Inland areas could see highs soaring up to 45°C towards the latter half of Ramadan. The forecast also suggests a dry month ahead, with March's average rainfall standing at just 9 mm, making significant rainfall an unlikely event during Ramadan.

Pleasant Ramadan Weather in UAE

The NCM's forecast also covers humidity levels and wind patterns for the holy month. Humidity is expected to be slightly lower throughout Ramadan, which should provide some comfort during the warmer parts of the day. The highest humidity levels will be experienced during the night and early mornings, ranging from 70% to 78%, while daytime humidity will be considerably lower, between 20% and 30%. As for wind patterns, southerly winds will prevail at night and in the mornings, shifting to north-westerly winds in the afternoons and evenings. Average wind speeds are around 13 km/h, but stronger gusts of up to 123 km/h could occur due to changing pressure systems, occasionally leading to dust storms.

Fasting Hours

The duration of daily fasting will see a slight increase over the course of Ramadan. Initially, fasting periods will start at around 13 hours and 14 minutes, extending to approximately 13 hours and 57 minutes by the month's end. This duration may vary slightly depending on one's specific location within the UAE.

The NCM's weather forecast paints a picture of a comfortable Ramadan ahead for those observing in the UAE. With mostly pleasant weather conditions expected throughout the month, residents can focus on the spiritual aspects of Ramadan without undue discomfort from extreme weather conditions.
