Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing Facility Inaugurated In KEZAD Abu Dhabi By Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, has opened the Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing LLC facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The plant focuses on hot induction pipe bends and supports critical energy, water, and industrial projects across the Middle East and Africa.
Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing is described as the largest and first facility of its kind in the Middle East and Africa producing hot induction pipe bends. The project strengthens the UAE’s role as a regional and global industrial centre, while backing national plans for economic diversification and advanced manufacturing.
The new Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing facility includes advanced production lines and technical systems. It can manufacture hot induction pipe bends from 4 inches to 80 inches for major strategic projects. Operations use an integrated Industry 4.0 model with Industrial Internet of Things tools, predictive maintenance, and full digital traceability to support quality and reliability.
The company highlights environmental sustainability within the Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing operations. The site uses clean energy sources, including solar power, and applies circular economy practices. An in-house system converts steam into drinking water, producing 10,000 litres daily, which reduces resource waste and limits the facility’s overall environmental footprint.
The inauguration of Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing took place in the presence of representatives from ministries, government bodies, industrial organisations, and academic institutions. The attendance of these groups underlined the UAE’s collective approach to building an advanced industrial base supported by research, training, and coordinated national policy.
During the opening, Sheikh Nahyan cut the ribbon to formally launch operations and then toured the Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing plant. Sheikh Nahyan praised the Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing infrastructure and technical capabilities during the visit.
