PIF Launches SARCC To Address Growing Demand For Staff Accommodation In Saudi Arabia

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has announced the creation of the Smart Accommodation for Residential Complexes Company (sarcc). This new entity will develop and manage housing for employees involved in major construction and development projects throughout Saudi Arabia. sarcc aims to meet the increasing demand for accommodation in both public and private sectors across the nation.

sarcc is set to revolutionise the accommodation market by focusing on developing and managing residential complexes for staff within Saudi Arabia. The company plans to invest significantly in improving housing standards for workers. "Accommodations provided or sourced by sarcc will meet recognized international standards set by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)," according to the release.

The company will support Saudi Arabia's private sector by encouraging long-term investments and partnerships across various industry value chains. This includes sectors such as construction, catering, transportation, and retail.
