Philippine Cultural Days Conclude Successfully; Uganda Cultural Days Set To Begin Tomorrow

The Ministry of Media wrapped up the Philippine Cultural Days, part of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative. This event was organised with the General Entertainment Authority and took place at Al-Suwaidi Park, a Riyadh Season venue. Over four days, it showcased a variety of cultural, musical, and artistic performances that introduced visitors to the rich tapestry of Philippine culture and arts.

Thousands of citizens and residents from different nationalities attended the Philippine Cultural Days. Filipino troupes performed folk dances from various regions of the Philippines. The event also featured acrobatic performances, circus acts, and other activities that highlighted the country's cultural heritage.

More than 30 cultural events were part of this celebration, including concerts and traditional performances. Interactive activities for children were also available, along with pavilions displaying handicrafts and fashion. These activities supported the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives under the Quality of Life Program.

The second annual Global Harmony initiative has seen strong participation both locally and internationally. It has attracted significant media coverage, highlighting its role in promoting cultural exchange among residents in the Kingdom. This reflects the diversity present in their social and professional lives.

Following this multicultural series, Uganda Cultural Days will begin tomorrow. This event will feature Ugandan artists and influencers presenting musical and folkloric performances. Visitors will have opportunities to engage in interactive activities that offer insights into Ugandan life and culture.

Pavilions at the Uganda Cultural Days will showcase traditional clothing, handicrafts, and popular cuisine. Various cultural activities are planned to immerse visitors in Uganda's folklore, further enhancing their understanding of Ugandan identity.
