UAE Weather Update: Partly Cloudy Skies With Possible Rain And Dust Today
The forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) for Monday indicates that the weather will experience a variety of conditions, from partly cloudy skies to potential light rainfall, particularly in the western regions and islands. The day is also set to be occasionally dusty.
A significant decrease in temperatures is anticipated alongside varying wind conditions. Winds are expected to be light to moderate during most of the day but could become active to strong occasionally. This is especially true for areas over the sea, where the wind may cause dust and sand to swirl over land areas.

For those at sea, the conditions will be challenging. The Arabian Gulf is predicted to have rough to very rough wave conditions. In contrast, the Oman Sea will start with slight to moderate waves but is expected to become rough as the night approaches.
The NCM's daily weather update also provides specifics on the wind speeds and direction. Winds will blow from the north-westerly direction, with speeds generally between 15 to 25 km/h. However, there could be moments when the wind speeds increase to as much as 45 km/h.
The weather forecast for the day, as reported by the NCM, suggests a day that could see a mix of partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with a possibility of light rain in certain areas. Temperature drops and varied wind conditions, alongside challenging sea states, are also expected.
