Palestinian Child Mohammed Khaled Hijazi Receives Medical Treatment In Saudi Arabia Under Royal Directive

Under the guidance of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and following the advice of Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a young Palestinian boy named Mohammed Khaled Hijazi has arrived in Saudi Arabia for medical care. The seven-year-old, accompanied by his family, is set to receive treatment at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh.

Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, an advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's leadership in this humanitarian effort. He highlighted that this initiative exemplifies Saudi Arabia’s commitment to aiding Palestinians, especially children who are often severely affected by conflicts.

Palestinian Child Receives Care in Saudi Arabia

The child suffered a severe injury last March when an explosion near his home in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza, resulted in the loss of his right eye and significant damage to his left eye. This tragic incident underscores the vulnerability of children in conflict zones. Dr. Al Rabeeah noted that Saudi Arabia's support is part of its broader humanitarian mission led by KSrelief.

This mission is dedicated to providing aid without discrimination based on race, gender, or religion. It is deeply rooted in principles of compassion and solidarity. The Kingdom’s efforts aim to alleviate suffering during crises, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups like children.

Mohammed's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their compassionate gesture. They acknowledged that this act aligns with Saudi Arabia’s longstanding support for Palestinians. The family's appreciation highlights the Kingdom's consistent efforts to provide assistance during difficult times.

The initiative not only reflects Saudi Arabia’s dedication to humanitarian causes but also strengthens its ties with the Palestinian people. By offering medical care to Mohammed, the Kingdom demonstrates its commitment to helping those in need regardless of their background or circumstances.

This compassionate act serves as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to support those affected by conflict and crisis worldwide. It reinforces the Kingdom’s role as a leader in global humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating suffering and promoting well-being for all.
