Over SAR 55 Billion In Health Sector Investments Announced At Global Health Exhibition In Riyadh
The Global Health Exhibition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham has showcased substantial investments and projects in the health sector, amounting to over SAR55 billion. These initiatives include significant agreements among leading companies in the industry. The exhibition aims to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 health sector transformation program by enhancing healthcare quality and accessibility.
Key investments announced include new healthcare projects by Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group, valued at more than SAR10 billion. Additionally, Dallah Hospital is set to be established in Riyadh with an investment of SAR4 billion. Fakeeh Care Group also revealed expansion plans worth SAR5 billion. These projects are expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of healthcare services in the region.

Partnerships formed during the event featured collaborations with notable entities such as the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) and Sudair Pharmaceutical Company. Agreements were also made with global health leaders like Sanofi and Novo Nordisk. These partnerships aim to localize insulin production, support health expansions worth SAR5 billion, and fund five primary care centers along with two new hospitals.
In line with innovation goals, a robotic device for sample transfer without human intervention was introduced at the forum. Additionally, a specialized vascular surgery device was unveiled to enhance surgical precision and speed. These technological advancements align with the Ministry of Health’s objectives under the transformation program.
The Ministry's goals focus on bolstering drug and health security while providing sustainable and integrated healthcare services. Increasing readiness to tackle health challenges and achieving self-sufficiency in medicine and medical supply production are also key priorities.
These initiatives reflect Saudi Arabia's commitment to improving its healthcare infrastructure through strategic investments and partnerships. By focusing on innovation and collaboration, the country aims to meet its Vision 2030 objectives effectively.
