Over One Million Apply For Ala Khutah Experience As GEA Aims For 300,000 Visitors

Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), revealed that over one million applications have been received for the "Ala Khutah" experience. This initiative is set to launch in November. Alalshikh expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his steadfast support of the project.

The "Ala Khutah" experience has gained international recognition, particularly in Indonesia. Plans are underway to expand this immersive project to Malaysia, Türkiye, and India. The experience aims to reflect the essence of the prophetic migration in a deeply engaging manner.

Alalshikh highlighted the importance of meeting HRH the Crown Prince's aspirations for the migration route project. He also acknowledged the support from Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz.

This year, the project aims to attract 300,000 visitors, supported by an integrated framework ensuring quality and safety. By 2030, there is an ambitious target to welcome five million visitors annually. Enhanced transportation options will facilitate movement along the migration route.

Specially equipped four-wheel-drive buses will navigate rough terrain efficiently. These buses will reduce travel time to Ghar Thawr from two hours on foot to just three minutes, significantly improving visitor comfort and enriching their overall experience.

Alalshikh emphasized ongoing efforts to align with HRH the Crown Prince's vision for "Ala Khutah." The commitment from regional leaders has been crucial in driving this unique project's success. The initiative continues to gain momentum globally, reflecting its potential impact.
