Over 80 Countries Convene In Riyadh To Discuss Mining Sustainability And Global Collaboration

The Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh, from 14 to 16 January, highlighted Saudi Arabia's growing influence in global mining discussions. With delegates from 89 countries, the event aimed to boost international cooperation and advance the mining sector. This aligns with sustainability and economic growth goals. Over 20,000 attendees and 250 speakers participated in more than 70 sessions, emphasizing sustainable mining and regional integration.

During the forum's fourth Ministerial Roundtable, representatives from 89 countries discussed strategies for sustainable mining development. The forum introduced the Exploration Enablement Program (EEP), which has conducted over 440,000 meters of drilling across 50,000 km² of promising mineral areas.
