Over 6 Million Devotees Attend Prayers At Prophet's Mosque In One Week

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque recently disclosed that the Prophet's Mosque welcomed an impressive total of 6,000,247 worshippers and visitors in the last week. This influx was managed with a combination of integrated and high-quality services, ensuring that all attendees could perform their prayers in a smooth and efficient manner.

According to the authority's issued statistics, a significant number of these visitors, 647,790 to be precise, visited the Prophet Mohammed's tomb. Additionally, 298,397 individuals had the opportunity to perform prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa. This was made possible through meticulous organizational procedures aimed at controlling crowd movement and scheduling times for optional prayers for both men and women.

6 Million Prayers at Prophet's Mosque

The report further highlighted the inclusive nature of the services provided. Specifically, 16,506 elderly individuals and people with disabilities were among those who benefited from the specialized services offered last week. The reach of these services extended further, with 114,532 visitors utilizing guidance services, 147,735 taking advantage of translation services, and 12,205 accessing information at the Prophet's Mosque's library.

In addition to these services, 5,456 people visited exhibitions and museums within the mosque's vicinity. The spirit of giving was also evident as 146,429 gifts were presented to visitors. Transportation services were utilized by 30,140 individuals, facilitating their movement to and from the mosque.

The provision of Zamzam water remained a priority, with more than 160,000 bottles distributed among the visitors. Furthermore, 142,007 Iftar meals were generously distributed in designated corridors of the mosque for those who had been fasting.
