Saudi Arabia Welcomes Over 6.7 Million Students For Academic Year 1446 AH
Over 6.7 million students have started the new academic year 1446 AH in more than 31,000 schools across Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring the educational process to ensure a smooth start. Their focus remains on creating a stimulating educational environment that fosters positivity and enhances school efficiency.
The ministry has implemented psychological preparation programs within education departments. These initiatives aim to foster psychological, social, and educational harmony for students transitioning to new grade levels. Additionally, awareness campaigns centred on values and programs promoting volunteering and scouting have been introduced.

To support educators, the ministry has launched the Hayyak program. This initiative welcomes teachers contracted for this academic year across various education departments. The program aims to equip these teachers to work efficiently in public schools throughout different regions and provinces.
Contracts have been prearranged with over 12,000 teachers to meet needs across all specialties. This effort is complemented by more than 500,000 teachers who have returned to their respective schools in various regions and provinces.
The Ministry of Education has strengthened collaborations with government and private sector entities through an integrated partnership system. This collaboration ensures the smooth operation and success of the academic year's educational processes.
Parental Involvement
The ministry has also deepened its connections with students' families. Parents are encouraged to actively support their children by accompanying them to school during the initial days of classes. This involvement helps ensure consistent attendance and success for their children in school.
The Ministry of Education's efforts are geared towards cultivating a positive educational environment while enhancing efficiency within schools. These initiatives reflect a comprehensive approach to supporting both students and educators as they embark on the new academic year.
