Over 53,000 New Companies Joined Dubai Chamber Of Commerce During First Nine Months Of 2025
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reported significant achievements for the first nine months of 2025. These accomplishments underscore its role in bolstering economic growth and improving Dubai's business environment, aligning with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). The chamber welcomed 53,838 new member companies during this period, reflecting a 4% year-on-year increase, highlighting Dubai's appeal as a global business hub.
Exports and re-exports by members reached approximately AED260 billion, marking a 16% rise compared to the previous year. The chamber issued 627,908 Certificates of Origin, a 9% increase from 2024. Additionally, it processed 3,743 ATA Carnets for goods valued at around AED3.69 billion. These figures demonstrate Dubai's robust trade activities and its ability to attract foreign direct investment.

Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, stated that under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai is reinforcing its status as a global business and finance centre. He emphasised the importance of an integrated business ecosystem in boosting investor confidence and supporting economic growth. "Guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the emirate continues to advance with confidence as it reinforces its position as a leading global centre for business and finance," he said.
The chamber reviewed 42 laws and draft laws in collaboration with Business Groups during this period. The private sector's recommendations saw a 64% adoption rate, up from 49% in 2024. This collaboration highlights the chamber's commitment to fostering a legislative environment conducive to business growth.
The chamber supported the international expansion of 90 local companies in the first nine months of 2025, representing a 20% increase from the previous year. This effort aligns with its goal to open new pathways for global expansion and deepen international partnerships.
To raise awareness about laws and regulations within the business community, the chamber organised 25 legal events in the first half of the year. These included seminars and workshops attended by 1,702 participants. Such initiatives aim to educate businesses on legislative frameworks essential for compliance and growth.
Mediation Cases and Family Business Support
The chamber received 146 mediation cases during this period, reflecting an 11% year-on-year growth. The total value of these cases exceeded AED230 million. This indicates an increasing reliance on mediation services to resolve business disputes efficiently.
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses (DCFB) launched three advisory services focused on family charters and office structures. It also issued a directory of family business advisors in Dubai. These initiatives support family enterprises' sustainability by providing access to specialised consultancy services.
Training Programmes for Future Leaders
A total of 29 participants graduated from the second cohort of the Dubai Family Business Management Programme. The centre also conducted two sessions under its Next-Gen Family Businesses Training Programme. This programme equips next-generation family members with leadership skills based on global standards.
Throughout these nine months, four events were held under DCFB’s ‘Governance Series,’ offering insights from global experts on governance practices crucial for family businesses' success.
